Archermit was founded in Chengdu, China in April 2015.The pioneer and practitioner of the Imagist Theory of Architecture, and the pioneer representative of the School of Imagist Architecture. The core concept of Archermit is to create a new multidimensional space experience, and create a poetic space environment with emotion and vitality. Archermit adheres to the method of 'Endowing forms with Ideas, perceiving Ideas through forms.' “小隐于野”源于晋代王康琚之《反招隐诗》“小隐隐陵薮，大隐隐朝市”，取景山野湖泊，探求建筑与自然的场域交融；
“不在山林”取唐代白居易之《玩新庭树因咏所怀》“始知真隐者，不必在山林”，指代城市中项目，开凿闹市中的一方净土。
"Hidden in the Wild" originated from Wang Kang Ju's "Poem Against Recruitment of Seclusion" of the Jin Dynasty, "Formal seclusion is hidden in the mountains and lakes, mental seclusion is hidden in the city", which is based on the natural scenery, and explores the integration of the architecture and wild fields;
"Not in the mountains and forests" is taken from Bai Juyi's " Reflecting on My Feelings about the Sprouting of Trees in the Courtyard" in the Tang Dynasty, "the true hermit does not need to be in the mountains and forests", which refers to the projects in the city, and is an attempt to excavate a pure land in the downtown area.
